I have been a customer for many years with Amazon and Lowe's Synchrony Bank cancelled [-] Amazon card and [-] Lowe's card because [-] credit score went down through no fault of [-] own I am living on social security but before Civic I was also cleaning houses and I had a very good credit score so synchrony bank is penalizing [-] for [-] Credit score Going down I've always paid [-] bills And then I was late 2days and I was charged 48.00. [-] person I spoke to I won't say Lady Because she was extremely [-] When I told her That I had always paid [-] [-] and not been late she started reading off all these times I was late well apparently if you pay your [-] on [-] due date I had always paid [-] [-] and not been late she started reading off all these times I was late [-] apparently if you pay your [-] on [-] due it is not Entered for 2 days So even though you paid on time It shows it was late. I explained that is when I get [-] Social security and I pay it by phone right to their automated system so I guess Synchrony Bank likes to KICK YOU WHEN YOU ARE DOWN. I've worked all [-] life but I worked for a company that was family owned and did not have retirement. I guess that their policy is low CREDIT SCORE TAKE AWAY THEIR CREDIT.2
Synchrony Bank Paypal Credit is [-] most ineffective inefficient organization possible when it comes to handling and resolving disputes. They [-] not stand for [-] consumer. They stand for [-] merchants. [-] allow [-] merchants to remain in non compliance and non delivery of purchase agreements and reasonably expected time frame for performance of purchase contracts for months - and then when they finally issue [-] consumer a credit - they allow [-] merchant to then then fulfill their obligations months later (which by that time [-] contract is null and void and [-] merchant is in breach of contract)- and then they charge back [-] consumer - claiming [-] merchant fulfilled their contract. This is [-] most absurd policy ever in existence. American Express or American Airlines Ciitcard would never allow this type of thing to happen to its consumer. This is [-] worst bank credit card you could ever deal with. Never use SYNCHRONY BANK.

I been a customer for years and recently got [-] Lowe's card upgrade same has [-] wife got her. this was with [-] purpose of doing our kitchen and floor.we made a big payment on both account hopping to bring [-] minimum payment done. you guys can"t or won"t [-] it because it was a fix rate 84 month pay. A dispute was filed with Synchrony Bank to notify them of what had occurred. Months passed before [-] dispute was resolved, but in [-] end they denied [-] dispute, leaving [-] responsible for [-] damages and unsafe conditions of [-] furniture. In addition, two late fees were reported to [-] three credit bureaus by Synchrony Bank, resulting in a significant decline in [-] credit score.[-] bank in [-] opinion uses unfair and deceptive practices and appears uninterested in its customers.

I have not been credited [-] rewards for any purchases since [-] end of Oct. 2022. Called numerous times, spent hours on [-] phone and was promised it would be fixed. NOT!!! I had a substantial amount of money in a Synchrony CD. When it matured and I notified them to send [-] [-] proceeds, thy stalled for days and days, holding on to [-] money. At times they asked for written request, [-] they wanted notarization, then they wanted a signature guarantee, etc. In [-] meantime they held [-] money, with no interest accruing.
I was accepted for their Mastercard on November 14. They [-] [-] and also told [-] it was mailed on [-] November 16. This is 13 days late no card received. Dec 1 received a email card mailed November 30 and [-] it [-] take 5 to 7 days. I’ve been lied to on [-] phone by customer service about [-] date sayings it was already shipped. If this is [-] they [-] [-] I’m canceling [-] card as soon as it arrives. [-] is too small.
Can't get a hold of anybody to help [-] get money back for a purchase on a synchrony account from lowes. I purchased a washer dryer on 11/10/22 scheduled [-] installation and delivery date of 12/1/22. [-] items were in [-] warehouse because they didn't have [-] 2 other ones in stocks that I wanted. Even if you're a customer for 10 years , they [-] hold your payments for 2 weeks so you can't use your credit if you [-] something silly like pay your account off because you're expecting to make a couple large purchases. There's other issues we've had with our multiple accounts. Synchrony is good if you're buying toothbrushes through paypal or getting a 200.00 check up for your [-]. This bank seems to be run on unethical principles. One month it gave [-] a credit account; [-] next month even before [-] first payment was due, it independent of [-] knowledge, added [-] additional amount to [-] [-]. This added amount was a "credit security." Next within seconds it seemed, this bank reported [-] account to a credit reporting agency for "going over [-] limit" of [-] approved credit limit. Anyone could see [-] unfairness of this negative score on [-] credit rating......BEWARE! BEWARE! This bank is unethical. I was having trouble logging in [-] account. [-] cell numbers that are listed to send [-] [-] are pulled from a third party ( Credit agencies) . Unfortunately one number i found out belongs to [-] brother and [-] next number is [-] old number. According to [-] reps this [-] extra layer of security. I tried resetting [-] password and retrieving username and i all needed was [-] social security and birthday. Anyone can get [-] social and birthdate. All someone has to [-] now is update [-] credit agencies with their number and they [-] be able to change password and retrieve log in information. This not a level of security. Please look into this.

Received approval for $1,800.00 in credit from [-] Homestore via a Synchrony Bank issued card in [-] 2021. On 01/30/21, I placed [-] online order for furniture and associated delivery and services, totaling $1,243.58. On 02/10, 02/12 and 02/16/21 I texted [-] Homestore representatives to find out when [-] furniture would be scheduled for delivery, and didn’t receive responses. On 02/19/21, I telephoned [-] Homestore and spoke with a customer representative, who then informed that [-] furniture I ordered wouldn’t be received by [-] Homestore for another several weeks. Very rude customer service representatives
I have Gap credit card through synchrony bank. I had 115 points which is as good as [-] which can be used in Gap stores. I purchased with that and returned [-] items in [-] store. I was told that [-] points [-] [-] back to [-] account and I never received it. I am going back and forth from 2016 till 2018 about that. And they closed [-] account in 2018 nov which i came to know in today 2020 [-] when I was going through [-] pending things. They close [-] account without resolving [-] dispute and without [-] knowledge. I was getting [-] run around for [-] points. Very unlawful [-]! I am very disappointed in dealing with them. I been a J.C Penney credit card holder by quite some time now. [-] service has been [-] what could be consider good customer service. [-] people in charge of providing customer service for [-] accounts has been engaging in some questionable practices. Placing hold on [-] accounts and requesting individuals to call in and to confirm personal information such as social security number and or other personal information. I just [-] they [-]'t end up on [-] news such as well fargo employees.

I submitted [-] application with a tax ID thinking it was a jcp commercial account . [-] section asks for either ssn or a tax id, so I submitted [-] tax ID. So after submitting [-] application I get [-] email from [-] credit monitoring company saying I received a hard inquiry on [-] personal credit. I always had a high credit limit with this bank. UNTIL I inherited money and paid down [-] cards to 20% to improve [-] credit. [-] very next day they lowered [-] score from 1300.00 to 100.00 which damages [-] credit. They clearly use these extortion tactics to [-] customers credit scores low in order to charge high interest rates. Avoid these dishonest shysters and look elsewhere. Capitol one has never tried these tactics.
This bank cares more about [-] money than [-] customer that’s gives them [-] money. They [-]’t value loyalty or customer service.

Synchrony Bank is [-] ABSOLUTE WORST banking institution I have ever dealt with in more than 40 years. They are basically scam artist. They really remind [-] of a ponsey scheme. I have 2 accounts with Synchrony, Amazon, and Carecredit. Both for several years and I [-]'t had any [-]. They are similar to Comenity but much better. [-] thing I like best is they are not a Foreign Bank and not affiliated with one.

Very poor customer service! [-] [-] is still falsely using [-] address for credit at rooms to [-]. They r only asking for a drivers license. I can claim any address on [-] license! No one seems to care! Contacting rooms to [-] and [-] sheriff.

Bad company. They [-] not tell [-] truth. Even after I paid off [-] account through them they a month and a half ago, they still have not sent [-] a letter stating it is paid off. They are a shady company that preys on people that need assistance with medical bills via their Care Credit card. I never missed a payment, never was late. They reduced [-] limit for no reason and when questioned it was due to something that supposedly happened six months before. This reduction caused [-] to be over limit, so I paid [-] card off. They then cancelled it for no reason, stating negative information on [-] credit report. They are impacting [-] ability to buy a home. They are no better then a [-] shark.
I have been trying to get a hold of someone to fix [-] issue with [-] credit card not linking to [-] online account. I have been in contact with a manger, [-] [-] and have emailed her about [-] situation but since then she has become unresponsive and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend this bank to ANYONE! I would like to know if you’re company can add choice of payments? It would be helpful for I know many of people to have [-] option to pay with credit card or bank account. Due to [-] fact I didn’t get paid until [-] 24th in November [-] payment was late and now I [-]’t get paid until [-] 22nd of December and [-] payment [-] be late once again. If I had [-] option to pay with [-] credit card I wouldn’t have any late fee’s and [-] late payment is messing up [-] credit.
