Complaint: On XX/XX/19, I e-signed an Intent to Proceed notice with TD Bank for a mortgage loan. The closing date for this transaction was scheduled for XX/XX/19. My attempts to communicate with the loan officer and loan processor since signing the Intent to Proceed have been largely unsuccessful resulting in missed deadlines and a failure to meet the original closing date. Between XX/XX/19 and XX/XX/19, I sent 6 emails to my loan officer and/or loan processor and not a single one was replied to. Over the same approximate 1-month period, I left 11 voicemail phone messages ( no phone calls were ever answered immediately ). Only three of my calls were returned. I received a conditional approval on XX/XX/19 from the lender. I submitted the required documentation to the best of my ability with minimal to no guidance provided by the lender. Due to lender 's failure to respond to my attempted outreach, at no time was I aware if the submitted documentation would be acceptable. The conditional loan approval correctly stated the closing date XX/XX/19. An initial closing disclosure is required by XX/XX/19 in order to close by XX/XX/19. TD Bank did not meet the XX/XX/19 deadline for the closing disclosure. I was informed via email onXX/XX/19( the first email response I received since XX/XX/19 ) that the lender has not performed an employment verification. I was informed by TD Bank that a written verification request was sent to my employer on XX/XX/19, the day the closing disclosure was due. During one of the few successful phone calls on XX/XX/19, I asked the loan processor if any documentation was needed for employment verification. I was informed TD Bank would independently obtain the verification. As of XX/XX/19, to my knowledge the only item which is required to complete underwriting is the written employment verification. However, I can not confirm this is the only requirement for underwriting due to the lack of communication. As of the filing of this complaint, I have not received the completed appraisal, the initial closing disclosure, or even a proposed revised closing date. TD Bank has failed to display any good-faith efforts indicating that they attempted to close this loan on-time. Outreaches to the TD Bank loan officer and processor have been almost nonexistent. Outreach to TD Banks customer service line has been successful, however, the amount of assistance they can provide me in limited to what is recorded in the system by the loan officer or processor. As a result of the failure to meet the disclosure deadlines and closing date, I now face potential consequences of monetary damages and a cancellation of sale through no fault of my own.

Complaint: RE : XXXX XXXX MD-PRIVILEGED AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATIONDear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, CFPB : I am writing the CFPB in reference to fraudulent unauthorized activity on an account I opened with TD, XXXX, bank to politely accommodate a problematic section XXXX tenant, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I walked into the TD bank ( located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Pa XXXX, phone : XXXX ) on XXXX XXXX, XXXX to inquire about delinquent accounts with amounts {$130.00} and {$62.00} which were reported to the XXXX. I was unaware of such accounts until XXXX XXXX, XXXX when I walked into a branch bank Police XXXX ( located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Pa XXXX, Phone : XXXX ), to obtain a banking account and I was declined because of adverse Reporting of FRAUDULENT accounts to the XXXX. These accounts being:1. TD bank South Carolina : On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I opened a TD Bank account ( located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX South Carolina XXXX ) because I travel often, and I had TD certified bank checks that needed depositing ( void after XXXX days ). The TD checks were rental checks in the amount of ( XXXX-check number XXXX and $ XXXX-check number XXXX ). The problematic section XXXX tenant, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, refused to resubmit payment amounts after informing her XXXX her TD bank did not honor their own Bank certified checks. The bank claimed the funds were returned to her account once voided, if not deposited within 90 days. This resulted in UNPAID PORTION OF SECTION XXXX RENT FOR XXXX XXXX {$70.00}, and UNPAID PORTION OF RENT FOR XXXX XXXX {$210.00}. XXXX XXXX, tenant paid {$34.00} instead of {$70.00} citing she had to purchase " insecticide, weed wacker, and ant baits '', and she subtracted her purchase from Section XXXX mandated amount of {$70.00} for the month of XXXX XXXX. She refused to pay XXXX XXXX rental portion {$210.00}. She is a problematic tenant, files false police reports, is a false witness, and well known throughout the lawyer judge judicial system assembly. This problematic section XXXX tenant, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is DELUSIONAL and wanted to dictate when I deposit MY MONEY. Again, TD bank branch in XXXX South Carolina would not honor their own TD bank certified checks. 2. TD bank New Jersey : I attempted to deposit the checks XXXX again after diligently attempting to advise problematic section XXXX tenant, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, to resubmit rental payments ; however, she believed she could live at property : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, New Jersey XXXX free from XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( partial payment XXXX XXXX in amount of {$150.00} ) through XXXX XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I entered TD bank ( located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX via TD bank employee XXXX XXXX Phone : XXXX ), and the branch would not honor it 's very own TD bank checks. 3. Property XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX New Jersey XXXX : The security deposit paid by the state of XXXX totaled {$1800.00} and I deposited these funds into a high yield interest bearing account at XXXX XXXX XXXX. I attempted on several occasions to provide name and address of account information to problematic section XXXX tenant, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, along with CASH annual interest payments and she refused ( I HAVE VIDEO FOOTAGE ). The TD bank account was closed once the balance EQUALED XXXX. I ensured the TD bank account closed without any issues, and I resolved any issues with the account after I walked into the TD bank branch ( located at XXXX New Jersey XXXX ) to close the TD bank account. Again, the TD bank account closed with a XXXX BALANCE. I was surprised to discover on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, delinquent and fraudulent account amounts : {$130.00} and {$62.00} WHICH I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF.

Havertown branch has one miserable person she done talking and dismisses you like trash I have never had a problem getting g information from my own acct in writing it a legal problem has to be approve I not asking for anyone else acct but my own Miss Dean is the worst she has to be removed or I leave the bank this is my third run in and today it's miss I never meat you before she delt with me many time
I going under cancer treatment and she the worst

This is the second time at Bridgeton NJ branch I was accosted by Allied guard. I pulled up in.my large work van today at 300pm. The guard walked up telling me to move because of traffic flow and that's where the.amored truck parks.
I.moved. as i.am doing this a Spanish customer pulls in.front of.bank in his work truck. She directs him in.spanish.to the spot I just left
This is the second and last time I will deal with the reverse prejudice here.

Most INCONVENIENT bank The branch doesn’t answer the phone. We went down in person and there is a sign on the door that you cannot enter. The excuse I got earlier in the week was that the Hartford branch closed and Wethersfield had to absorb those customers. Why wasn’t the employees transferred to help out in Wethersfield?

I was insulted and humiliated at your north lakeland branch by Shawn Paulson. I have severe breathing problems and also have a note from my Dr that I should not wear a mask. It could really do damage to my lungs. I needed to speak with someone about my account but instead I was told to get out of the bank. His exact words were " there's the door " very rude to me and my wife. So I will be pulling my money out of your bank and will give my business to someone that appreciates it. Thank you for your time

TD has become America's most inconvenient bank. No lobby hours, poor staffing, outrageous drive through lines, their PC link for service is a joke, I have used that and been told for HOURS that there is one person ahead of me.

this bank is a joke they locked me out of my account for 2 months then sent me a letter saying that my account was in the negative it became in the negative because of their fees I transferred the money from another bank to this account only to learn that they had closed it the day before and charged it off! What type of banking is this?

Please forward to Mel and her supervisor.

Your interpretation of the loan requirements is stupid. The PPP loan was presented to help small business. There is no payroll at my particular office. But as noted in the loan there is rent and utilities which this loan was to be used for to keep my business open. Dealing with TD bank has been nothing but a clusterf___k of stupid interpretations.

My loan application was to be for $1500 a month for 3 months. $4500 to keep my doors open since Real Estate offices are not making any money right now and need help.
There is no payroll everyone is 1099. The office is a LLC with partner distributions at year end.

Your brainless interpretations of the SBA rules is just plain stupid. per the SBA, loans are for Payroll, Mortgage interest, Rent and Utilities.
As I have become accustomed to TD Bank sucks and is operated by mindless boobs.

As soon as I can, I will be removing all business from TD Bank and inform as many people as I can to do the same.

Another very poor example of good customer service at a TD Store . Unfortunately this time it was my own neighborhood TD.

At about 2:25 on 12/1/19, my elderly mother and I walked into the South Boston TD branch located at the corner of D st and W. Broadway to have documents notarized. On the way to see the person in the office with glass walls we were stopped in our tracks by a girl at the teller counter who insisted we "must stop at her counter location before speaking to the girl in the glass office", [Assistant Manager Jennifer Y. Zhang]

In an attempt to keep this post short, I was extremely annoyed by the comet, it was abrupt and very disturbing. I have been banking at this branch for a number of years without having to deal with aggressive and unprofessional TD staff.

Note: My experience at this store has always been exceptional until this day.

The distinct difference that I noticed on this day was TD upper management relocated the highly respectable and highly qualified Clayton Rogers Assistant Vice President, and Store Manager who they replaced with a no good, unprofessional Assistant Manager, prompting this unpleasant and unfortunate review.

If customer service is a concern to THE TD BOARD OF DIRECTORS then please note, both Assistant Manager Jennifer Y. Zhang and the individual behind the counter failed to do their job and deserve to be demoted or transferred out to another store. I will be closing my accounts and bring my business elsewhere.

Customers expect and deserve a high degree of professionalism and courteous service every time they step into a TD store, which I did not receive on this day.

"The Bank Where People Make the Difference." I welcome a response from TD MANAGEMENT.

After being a TD customer for almost 20 years and having multiple accounts with them, I am very upset with my most recent experience. I received a check that was questionable from a person. I deposited with TD bank and then called twice to see if the check was cleared and legitimate. I was assured both times by a TD representative that the chack cleared and was legitimate. They said that the check wouldn't have cleared if it was fake. Going by that information, I wrote two checks for $1,000 each. I received a letter in the mail at the end of the week that the check was fake, meanwhile, my checks were sent. This resulted in being scammed out of $2,000. When I called TD bank for an explanation, Cheryl told me that because I was in good standing and for so long, that they assumed I would never accept a bad check and just ok'd the transaction. I am appalled that a loyal and responsible customer of TD Bank has LESS security than a new customer or who has a bad banking history. This answer is unacceptable and if I don't get this resolved, I will be taking all of my accounts and money to another bank. This is NOT customer service. I have stayed with TD for their safety and customer service. This is appalling and I will take this to the news if I have to.

Horrible experience with TD Bank. If I could rate this service as 0 I would. So much for convince. I've been inconvenienced by a Customer Service Rep. I called and order a replacement debit card and was told I would receive it in 3 to 4 business days. To my surprise to representative never order my debit card and it's time to pay bills. And being told I got to wait another couple of days. Unbelievable, I am so upset, no money or food and I'm going to occur late fee charges which no one at TD Bank is concerned about. Not only that I'm being told there's no corporate number just address. I can't believe TD Bank let me down. Valued Customer get treated like this, if you are reading this be careful when you pick your fruit off of the tree. I'm so upset my weekend is ruin and I'll never be able to get it back. What a disappointment...

I write to commend the diligence and great customer service of Lara at TD Bank 's 451 Lexington Avenue, Ny, My location. Even when interrupted by other tellers or manager, Lara focused on giving me complete, accurate, and friendly service. I informed her manager of my satisfaction but wish to impart this to corporate TD Bank so that Lara is recognized.

I am a TD Bank customer and as such am familiar with bank branches nearby my work and, as well, my home. I want to particularly comment on three employees, two of whom work at td's 6th Ave/32nd St.branch and the third employee at td's 475 Park Ave. S.branch, all N.Y.C. locations.
At 885 6th Ave., I've been fortunate to have met and have my banking needs attended to by Toki and Jeffrey, whose professionalism exceeds expectations, enhancing my customer experience with up to date and thorough knowledge of available banking services and by providing attentive, swift, friendly yet unfailingly courteous service.delivery. They always remember my name even after a month of banking at another TD branch. Their stand out performances not only cements my trust but,as well, my loyalty to TD banking. They are stellar.
At the east side Park Ave branch, I have been impressed by Geo( last or full name unknown to me) who has also been patient also with my banking questions and, like Toki and Jeffrey, has the pertinent information at hand and does not ignore the questions or Pooh Pooh the concern. Unfortunately, I have had other tellers deliver to me such careless, uninformed and rude service.
Due to these three estimable TD Bank employees, I commend their hard and look forward to maintaining my account with TD Bank.
