Umpqua bank credit card services contractor (Elan services) is incompetent and corrupt. Too many issues to list-STAY AWAY. Wish I had.
Corporate banks [-]. They screwed up [-] password but won't correct it via phone then they send house payment to [-] on 3/9/23 they printed it on 2 16 23 so it took at 2 weeks for [-] to get it [-] late date was 3 16 23 [-] [-] [-] to get it to them when when [-] 9th is a Thursday. I have 7 days to send it and it took 2 weeks for [-] to receive wtf. Good money schem late pay fee
Hostile environment. Profiled by [-] teller and felt threatened. Teller never tried to diffuse [-] situation or misunderstanding. [-] actually tried to feed off of [-] complaint and dissatisfaction for [-] poor service via drive thru. [-] story short, teller profiled [-] by not greeting or asking what I need help with. Made [-] feel guilty and uncomfortable by speaking to [-] as if I should know what [-] “drive thru routine” should be. I told him it was [-] first time going through. Absolute garbage. I [-] not feel comfortable coming here again, and if I [-], it would be to close this account and I would need to bring [-] husband. Manager here is also no different. Cold and sharp. Tried calling [-] branch to reach a live person to tell them what happened, but [-] automotive [-] kept on repeating nonstop. No surprise here. This is [-] worst bank experience I have ever had. This bank needs to [-] and be replaced.
Going out of [-]? Lobby suddenly closed. Phone calls to [-] bank [-]'t [-] through. Cannot make [-] appointment. No one to talk with. Customer service number on [-] back of [-] card [-] "We [-]'t have enough employees so we close [-] lobby." Seriously, [-] [-] I get to [-] Safety deposit box if [-] lobby suddenly is closed (no warning), calls to make [-] appointment [-] not [-] through, there is no solution but wait until they hire more people???????
They deserve NEGATIVE [-]. Wells allows fraud and does nothing to protect their customers money. I was a customer for 27 years and they didn't care about [-] loyalty. They are a horrible company that allows money to be stolen from students and treat their customers awful. Please [-] not use this bank. There are so many better choices
Why I can't have [-] card back after I was told I could use it but then I use it and then they say I can't have it back cuz it has [-] fiance's name on it and she is dead and I want [-] card back because it's a sentimental value because it's [-] last thing she got that was something for us together was her card from [-] bank account so I want [-] card back...... But because [-] machine ate it they're not going to give it back to [-] now when [-] lady told [-] I could use [-] card until I got [-] replacement card because it was tied to [-] account and she [-] it was no problem that's [-] girlfriend fiance was dead I can still use it no matter what and then they're telling [-] at [-] corporate that I can't have it back because it's in her name with her social security number on it when it's [-] account too and she's dead and I was using her card while I was getting [-] card replaced now I can't have it back I want [-] card back I'm already going to switch Banks because of this and I'm going to try to get [-] card back by suing your [-]......I'm [-] with this shut [-] phone off before calling [-] because there's quite a few transactions in one day or shutting [-] card off because it doesn't have [-] name on it but it's in [-] account and it's [-] fiance's card they're trying to say I'm stealing [-] own identity
I love this bank ! They always make you feel welcome! I was with Wells Fargo for 25 yrs. I love [-] personal approach with [-] customers, especially transplants to Kentucky! They make you feel at home! Thanks again! 😊
Inappropriate communication with phone service employee who did not follow bank policy and was disrespectful and insulting and denied [-] [-] to own money in [-] bank. I am moving [-] accounts to another bank.
Garbage, these guys have been super shady, I have put [-] money in [-] acct and it's like pulling teeth to get [-] money out if [-] acct..
If you are a fiduciary for a vet or their spouse [-] NOT [-] a fiduciary account with this bank. They have no idea what they are doing. They [-] not follow [-] VAs request when it comes to completing forms. [-] VA doesn’t bend [-] rules for them. It has been a nightmare trying to get them to fill out [-] forms. They want [-] VA to send them directly to them. [-] VA doesn’t work like that. [-] VA is government, you have to play by their rules. I am stuck in between [-] bank and [-] VA. I suggest using a bigger institution like B of A or Wells Fargo who deal with this all [-] time.
I have been attempting to get a reconveyance for a Heloc [-]. [-] [-] 996185419 was paid off a year ago. I didn't consider Umpqua had a lien on [-] home at [-] time. I am not attempting to refinance [-] home and [-] title search turned up this lien. I paid [-] recording fee on [-] 13th of [-], 2021. I have receive a letter confirming [-] payoff from Umpqua. It appears your bank uses some type of third party to record [-] reconveyance. I have checked with Cowlitz County Assessor's office and there is no recored of any Reconveyance as of toayd 4/29/2021
I am stuck in Reconveyance Limbo. I am unable to complete [-] refinancing because of [-] old lien. I have already seen rates increase by around 0.5% since [-] beginning of [-] year. This delay could be very costly for [-]. It their anything you can [-] to speed up this process?
Beyond rude at main corporate headquarters branch. Make you stand on [-] concrete outside when they are late. Treat you like a bank robber by insisting on ID removed from wallet for [-] appointment. They have you stand back outside to remove mask for ID check. Again all for [-] appointment. Then had [-] wait while they helped people without appointments first. Banker had [-] signature card for 10 days. Then lied and [-] she'd tried to get a hold of [-]. I would not and [-] not bank here. This is [-] experience as a volunteer with a nonprofit that banks with Umpqua.
[-] Grangeville branch is horrible. [-] elderly friend of mine was talked into letting a secondary on his account. [-] caught that person stealing from him and they wouldn't let him take her off his account. I've known him for 23 years and we have always helped each other. [-] got scared so [-] took [-] to his attorney and had POA for everything [-] made up with [-] as his POA. Now [-] bank [-] not [-] that POA. They [-] [-] secondary had to take over [-] finances ([-] same woman they know 3was stealing from him) or I just needed to turn him over to [-] state. Tried to talk with bank manager but she [-] [-] same. So, it looks to [-] like they condone theft and elderly abuse. Be carefull.
Treated very poorly by phone and in person. I was in tears all morning just trying to pay [-] mortgage. [-] husband and I are retired public school teachers and have a mortgage [-] with you. We want [-] apology for [-] poor unprofessional way we were treated.
This review would not have happened if [-] was still there! This [-] you put in is horrible. And it could cost [-] a lot of money! [-] is incompetent.
Opened a [-] account in Antioch and was treated like I deposited a million dollars. [-] [-] was friendly and knew his stuff. So much better than [-] NY Bank that I left. Special place.

Took 1 hour to speak with some one, given wrong answer, had to call back, another 40 minute wait, went through [-] trying to get information on [-] account. When this was [-] Bank, this was a bank one took pride in doing [-] with. One can get teeth from chicken before one is able to get to management.
[-] wife banks here and is fixing to change. I bank at bank of [-] and never have to wait this [-]. Two cars in front of us and we had a 45 minute wait. No [-] bank!! On November 1, 2019 I was parked in a handicap parking space with [-] placard displayed. [-] bank manager caome out and asked [-] not to park there as I was not doing [-] at [-] bank. I was actually doing [-] in [-] same shopping area that uses [-] same parking spaces. Apparently since it is considered private property they can ask [-] not to park there. I [-] not want anything from your bank just want to let you know [-] a disables veteran with a handicap parking placard was dealt with. I am having a [-] problem with [-] Garden Valley branch as I reached out to touch [-] hand of [-] teller as she was not paying attention to [-] as I was going to tell her that I would be putting in over 90 thousand into [-] account. Late this afternoon I was called and told that [-] account was closed and they wanted no more to [-] [-] with [-].. Now which [-] hold up [-] monies and [-] remodel of [-] home. I want [-] manager and teller fired and no longer to be in public view. waiting on [-] [-] public. I am wanting to pursue legal solutions if [-] [-] is put on hold.
I'm not [-] about [-] fact they won't help [-] get [-] mom's money back. I called corp and they forwarded to local branch also!
In [-] opinion this is [-] Worlds Worst Bank. I have accounts with 3 different banks and Umpqua Bank doesn’t come remotely close to [-] [-] banking provided by [-] other 2 financial institutions.
