I attempted to use your ATM machine in Hammondsport, NY on Sunday and [-] machine took [-] card and would not return it. It also did not allow [-] to make any choices on [-] screen.
I was not overly concerned yesterday because I knew [-] bank would have [-] card and I would get it back on Monday. However, that is apparently not [-] case!! I was told that [-] card got stuck in [-] machine by your staff person who I got on [-] phone when I called this morning. She [-] [-] edges were frayed and that is why it got stuck and she apologized. She then called back to tell [-] that it is not Five [-] Bank policy to give back [-] card to someone who is not a customer of Five [-]?????!!!!! I fail to see why that matters. If I show up with [-] proper ID that card should be returned immediately as it is [-] property! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was given Alisia who was very short with [-] and told [-] that was [-] "policy" and that [-] "card was captured for a reason by [-] financial institution". Ummm no, I [-] not owe any money on this card and there would be NO reason for this card to be "captured".
I then asked to speak to her boss and she referred [-] to [-] Lavoie who also gave [-] [-] same exact story about [-] card. I find this all to be very upsetting and horrifying to say [-] lease. Why would a bank treat [-] any differently than [-] active customer and what are you going to [-] to make this right? I would like [-] card back immediately and [-] apology for [-] incredible inconvenience this has caused [-].
I would like [-] answer today or I [-] be filing a complaint with [-] Hammondsport PD, NY State Department of Financial Services, and it [-] [-] on [-] website as a major complaint against Five [-] Bank! This card is [-] property and [-] bank has no right to [-] it from [-].
