Complaint: This complaint including GM Card/Capital One credit Card companies, and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX address : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, IL XXXX, phone : XXXX 1. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a debt collection letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am confused, stunned and surprised for {$5300.00} debt. I spent loads of time contacting GM Card, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, and Capital One to investigate the arrears of {$5300.00}. Because I did not use GM account since XXXX and I did not receive new GM card since XXXX. How could it be I use {$5300.00} from XXXX to XXXX.
2. I found that Capital One sold GM account to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, then XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX after I spoke to Capital One customer service.
3. According to my bank account statement, XXXX XXXX withdraws from my bank from XXXX to XXXX total amount is {$14000.00} + late fee of each withdraw {$2200.00} = {$16000.00} ( XXXX XXXX statement has 66 pages ) GM did not issue a new card to me, without my consent to take my money from my bank, and I also am unable to login online to check my account status because I don't have GM new card.
4. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent totally 91 pages statement to Capital One and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX via USPS certified mail with return receipts. But I did not receive any response from both sites.
I reasonably believe that it is possible due to identity theft, or fault, or GM employee mistakes or any reason from XXXX to XXXX. But GM, Capital One, or XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX have liabilities to my loss.
5. On XX/XX/XXXX, finally I received XXXX XXXX statement I can see GM took my money {$1800.00} and plus charged me let fee {$35.00} for each transaction. Totally {$2000.00}.
6. I loss amount of money is {$18000.00}

Complaint: Capital One is stating that I have a write off account from XXXX. To date I have never received any bills or letters from Capital One. I had an installment loan with Capital One 60 month installment loan with Capital One in XXXX. Upon making my what I thought was a final payment there was still a remaining balance. I questioned this balance and Capital One sent me all of my statements. During this process, Capital One advised that I did not need to make a payment since I was disputing and it would take several weeks to provide the statements. I received my statements in XXXX of XXXX. I contacted Capital One in XXXX and the representative could not understand as well. I paid the final payment over the phone {$830.00}. At this time because I did not have any other options and did not want my credit to be impacted I assumed this had been resolved, Upon checking my credit report years later I discovered a late payment on my credit report from XXXX. I disputed this with XXXX and as a result of my dispute late payments started being reported in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. I reached out to Capital One who started I did not pay my final payment in XXXX. I do not have any billing statements to support this from Capital One and this does not explain why they are reporting late payments when I have not received a bill. Capital One is ignoring my request and violating my rights as a consumer to have an accurate credit report.
I have attached copy of bank statement which shows Capital One agent processed payment was withdrawn from my account on XX/XX/XXXX I have also posted a document which shows m payments were auto withdrawn. I have also posted response to my inquiry to capital one about the late payment in XXXX. I have also attached a letter from Capital One which references late payment in XXXX but does not mention any write off.

They took my Targeted Advance grant and said I was trying to say I was committing fraud, froze my account and took every penny I had. and said they were returning it to the sba and never did.
Tjere was no reason for this. They caused me.to lose my business ive had since 2015 and for closed on my house. CAPITAL ONE WRECKED MY LIFE. I don't even give them 1 star they should be at negitive 5 stars

This bank has been an absolute horror show to work with. I was an excellent customer with a Platinum credit card (Mastercard) for several years. However, when I authorized a hotel outside of the US to make charge for a room reservation, COne blocked it, and locked the account. I had called them in advance to tell them this hotel would process this charge and gave them all the details. Even this is not required. But COne would not tell me why they declined the hotel charge. They would do NOTHING to verify it, but they unblocked the account and told me to process it again. I double checked all the information with the hotel and told them to run it again. COne refused to process the transaction the second time. Worse, they won't unlock the account and don't accept my verification even though I answer all their stupid questions. Bottom line, they have NO appreciation for customers. They make you wait hours to answer simple calls. It looks like maybe this bank is in financial trouble since they spent all their money buying back their own stock. Avoid them like the plague...find another back to deal with and don't get fooled by their ads. Trying to solve problems with them is like talking to 3 year olds.

If I could give a negative number I would! This is terrible customer service contact. I have tried four different numbers, tried corporate headquarters and STILL can'tbe connected with a person, only the #$$#$%^ automated voice, which doesn't help! In one case I was connected with a health plan expert for over 65!!!! I now need to search for a BANK that will help me with my accounts and answer questions and NOT by an automated system which is not user friendly! I will tell people to avoid this one! This is the WORST!!!

If I could give them a minus ten I would. They are the worst. I opened a secure account with them and when I decided to close the said they could not give me " my money " back for at least 2 months. But hey they are more then capable of sending me a letter in 5 business days saying they intend to give me my money. It is a load of shit. They are hijacking MY MONEY to gain interest on it. They are fully capable of giving me my money back. Calked corporate and no response they are the worst credit card company in the word...

They do not work with you like they say they would. They lost a good customer who uses credit cards all the time. I will not ever get a card from them again or recommend them to anyone I know.
