rude employees. i went to macedon branch with a complaint about no service on my card. the employee , pete, told me "so whats the problem then ?"
he then tells me i need to buy a new computer. (i'm a senior ). as i stood up to leave, the braNCH MANAGER APPROCHES ME, AND TELLS ME TO QUIET DOWN AND GO INTO "MY OFFICE". YOU WILL NOT ACT LIKE THIS IN "MY BANK" I ASK HER TO LEAVE ME ALONE. SHE GETS RIGHT UP IN MY FACE AND YELLS AT ME TO GET INTO "MY OFFICE" At no time was their any profanity or abusive language by me. or physical intimidation. I walk with a cane.
This manager has zero conflict resolution skills at all. Nothing but escalation. i try to walk away and she gets in my way in front of me and continues with, loudly, please Get into MY office". You are bothering the other customers. i looked around and the bank was empty.
I now get a letter from a robert s flowers telling me he has closed my account. lYONS nTIONAL BANK DOES NOT ACCEPT CUSTOMERS WHO TRAT OUR STAFF IN THIS MANNER.
NO ONE REACHED OUT TO ME TO DISCUSS THIS. Apparently his skills at vice president do not include talking to customers. SEND EM A LETTER. ZERO KILLS SHOWN.

Lyons [-] is NOT a bank I would recommend. In fact I would discourage anyone from doing [-] with this bank. 2 years ago I attempted to get a mortgage with this bank. Had nothing but trouble with [-] [-] officer mainly in getting him to return [-] phone calls. I would call leave messages and no return call. After a couple of weeks of this I shopped for another bank and I obtained a mortgage with Community Bank. FYI, [-] credit score was in [-] 700's and had a 30% down payment in hand.
[-] next issue was that they refused to allow [-] to deposit a 3rd party check after I had done so 2 months in a [-]. I was told that this was a bank policy. I have had bank accounts for 37 years and never had this issue with a bank before. Also they could not give [-] or show [-] in writing that this was policy and this was not something disclosed to [-] upfront when I opened [-] account. Very deceptive in [-] view. So as soon as I can I am switching to another bank and telling everyone I can about [-] experiences with this hick town bank.
