Bank of [-] West allowed [-] account holder to deposit a large stolen check written to someone [-], who was deceased at [-] time, to be deposited into one of their account holders accounts. Bank of [-] West defends this [-] by stating that they allow a one time courtesy to their account holder with this deposit.

I love [-] branch in Tacoma, WA. They are very responsive. I also loved [-] branches in [-] Gatos and San [-] California. But... your 800 number telephone response STINKS. You can wait on hold for HOURS and HOURS. This is inexcusable. And, on [-] BOW website, try sending a "secure" [-] by [-] contact [-]. No response for days on end. What's up with you people???? You have [-] WORST customer contact of any corporation I have ever interacted with. BY [-]. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. If I were on Facebook, I would let [-] experiences be known. Say, that's a thought... there must be some way I could let [-] country known without getting on those social media sites. Hmmmm.
You only let [-] rate you 1,2,3,4,5 [-]. I would have rated you [-] had you given [-] [-] [-]. Guess you [-]'t all ow that because you know what would be coming.

Customer service is terrible. I wait on [-] phone from 30 [-] to [-] hour and I'm fine waiting. When I finally get someone they hang up. I even made sure they had a call back number [-] second and third time I called and never once did they call back. So 3 hours on [-] phone as of now and not [-] one simple thing I need done is even been attempted to be resolved. No excuse for this type of treatment. Evidently noone listens to any of their recorded phone calls for [-] assurance. I cant [-] them on [-] phone for more than 10 seconds. Just terrible.

Bank of [-] West is holding funds that should be paid back to [-] and they [-] not respond unless I threaten with with contacting [-] Attorney [-]. This has been going on since October 2020. They did not obtain [-] registration and tag for [-] fifth wheel. I paid them on closing to handle [-] registration and tag as well as taxes. In [-] 2021 they asked [-] to pay [-] taxes. They are not refunding [-] taxes I paid them. [-] not deal with them and get your money taken. As promised I am gathering paperwork to prove [-] case and sending to CA Attorney [-].

This bank in [-] experience and opinion uses deceptive banking practices to manipulate customers into opening a [-] account with a [-] of a promotional bonus of $250 that I believe they have no intentions of and [-] change deposit dates not to give you. I felt I was discriminated against when I received constant calls about where [-] deposits came from because I was African American and looked young. They put unnecessary holds on ATM deposits. I find it to not be up to [-] standards of other banks.

They discerimidate against handicapped. [-] were trounle

I have been waiting 2 months for information to be transferred to [-] [-] BMV to transfer [-] registration and title for [-] boat. I've paid for [-] boat slip, yet [-] boat sits on [-] driveway. What a poor way to conduct [-].

HORRIBLE. Closed for [-] RV on [-] 1. 18 days later no plates no registration. HOURS on hold and nothing but a runaround and now they are saying it might take 4 months. So so so unethical. They already took our money now they feel they can [-] what they want.

Local Sonoma Branch has no sense of customer service. Refused to take telephone instructions to not roll over CD and then rolled over at minimal interest rate for one year.Demanded we appear in person to give instructions or claim proceeds at [-] end of [-] next period. Meanwhile continues to send "offers" that have no interest in doing any [-] with this rip off organization.

Worst bank I've ever dealt with. When I opened [-] account they locked [-] account. When I called to see why they asked [-] 5 identity questions (with only one having anything to [-] with [-]). I failed that identity verification so [-] asked [-] [-] exact same question again and I gave him [-] exact same answers and I passed [-] verification. [-] bank also did not put [-] opening deposit on [-] account for multiple days. Then after [-] deposit showed up they emailed [-] saying they are closing [-] account. After days of not being told why, I was finally given [-] answer of [-] system couldn't verify [-] again. I was told [-] money would be refunded to [-] debit account I used to make [-] opening deposit but three weeks later I [-]'t received it. I called to ask about [-] money. [-] representative told [-] it was recently sent out through check. I spoke with a manager to see why [-] money isn't being returned to [-] debit account like I was previously told. [-] told [-] that [-] money was never in [-] bank of [-] west account. Then argued with [-] over this fact when I told him that [-] money was in [-] account when they closed [-] account for no reason. When I asked to speak to someone over him, [-] magically found [-] money but still refused to send it back to [-] debit account. No one would give [-] [-] number to [-] corporate office.

This bank uses [predatory advertising practices through Yahoo email. Yahoo is telling [-] that if I [-]'t drop [-] present ad blocker and sign up for theirs or pay them $3.49 a month I [-] be forced into [-] inferior email. It seems that Yahoo does have [-] ability to override [-] ad blocker plus. Bank of [-] West pays Yahoo to0 [-] this. I spoke to a supervisor [-] and she admitted this. I also spoke to Mariaat exec office and she [-] up on [-]. Obviously Bank of [-] West is aware of [-] predatory advertising practices they pay Yahoo for. I am putting this info out to [-] 30K followers that Google says I have. Why use a bank with predatory advertising practices?

Bank of [-] West is [-] epic fail where their customers are concerned. Phone wait times are up to [-] hour for assistance. I have gotten 3 different responses to [-] same question. They [-] not respond to their [-] center, not even to say they are looking into it (This was from 14 days ago) They happily took [-] money to pay off a [-], but [-] not release [-] title. With failure to contact anyone, or get responses I am beyond frustrated

This bank had free checking account, while ago a letter came out making about 8 conditions for free checking,, [-] most outrageous condition was that ‘customer MUST physically visit a branch once a month,, regardless of [-] balance. [-] burdensome demand, would have been fair had they have many branches. They closed one branch that was 4 [-] away from us, now [-] closest branch is 15 [-]. In this day and age demanding that customer [-] to [-] bank, in order to make [-] banks look busy is frustrating, insulting, unprofessional, unreasonable,,,, Please, please, please, please if any bank official is reading this note,, kindly please please please remove this ....... condition.

I called your customer support center and was asked to give [-] debit number expiration date as well as [-] 3 digit [-] on [-] back of [-] card. I would like to know is this a common practice for your company to have? Also why when i talk to other bank of [-] west employees they all tell [-] they should not be asking for that information. Then when i call back to have them explain it to [-] [-] supervisor says that is [-] procedure and i can deal with it or not.Does this company even care about its customers for one and second [-] they care that [-] supervisors they are hiring clearly have a lacking in customer service training and asking for information that can be used to fraud people out of their money. 1out of 10 Due to defective mobile app for Google pixel 3 for over a month now I have not been able to [-] [-] mobile app. Causing many issues. At this time I cannot recommend Bank of [-] West or is mobile apps.

Unbelievably poor customer service. Phone wait time always exceed 30 minutes. Telephone banking is worthless as they REFUSE to answer any questions on your account in favor of sending you physically into a branch. In today’s advanced communications to fathom being directed in a branch is incomprehensible! [-] absolute worst in [-] industry. I have fraud on [-] account and I cannot get anyone to update [-] claim. Closing 6 personal and [-] accounts today based on these pathway and unprofessional interactions!
